Join Fishing For All for a hands-on evening of bank fishing as we break down how to successfully fish large rivers like the Mississippi and Minnesota. You’ll learn where fish hold, how current influences fish behavior, and the techniques you can use to confidently find and catch fish from shore.

What to Expect
This is a relaxed, hands-on class held entirely outdoors. Rather than standing through a lecture, you’ll spend the evening actively fishing alongside your instructor while receiving personalized coaching throughout the class.

This hands-on class combines practical instruction with time on the water, giving you the confidence to find and fish productive river locations on your own.
What to Bring:
- Shoes or boots that can get wet and muddy
- Long sleeves and pants (recommended for sun and bug protection)
- Bug spray
- Sunscreen
- Brimmed hat
- Polarized sunglasses (if you have them)
- Headlamp or flashlight
- Folding chair for use along the riverbank
- Water and any snacks you’d like during class
- Minnesota fishing license (All anglers ages 16 and older must have a valid Minnesota fishing license.)
Policies
Fishing For All classes and events are nonrefundable, but can be transferred to other available options.
Fishing For All does not collect your reservation or payment for programs with partner organizations, like our “Learn How to Ice Fish” programs. The partner organization will take your reservation and payment, and you are subject to their policies.
Youth Summer Camp deposits are nonrefundable within 30 days of camp start date. They can be transferred to other available options. The remainder will be auto-collected on the 1st day of the camp. Once camp has started, this amount is nonrefundable and nontransferable.
All class, event, and camp prices are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee and a $2/person booking fee. These costs are nonrefundable, but can be transferred with your deposit to another available option.
