Ready to learn how to catch, clean, and cook fish—on the ice? Join us for an Ice Fishing Catch & Cook class where you’ll get the full winter angling experience, from drilling holes and baiting hooks to cleaning and cooking your catch.
Perfect for families and friend groups, this hands-on class is a fun way to build confidence on the ice while learning practical winter angling skills. We’ll introduce basic ice-fishing gear and techniques, help you catch panfish (and possibly walleye), then show you how to safely clean and fry your fish for a warm, well-earned meal.
To keep everyone comfortable and safe, Fishing For All provides heated ice huts, along with all fishing and cooking equipment. These shelters allow participants to warm up between bites and enjoy the experience even on colder days.
All anglers 16yo+ will need a MN fishing license. All skills levels welcome. $35/angler/session. To join multiple sessions, please make separate reservations for each individual session.
Winter Safety Note:
Safety is our top priority. Our instructors continuously monitor ice conditions and only fish on safe, tested ice. We’ll cover essential winter safety practices at the start of class, including moving safely on ice, staying warm, and proper use of equipment. Participants should dress appropriately for winter weather, including insulated boots, warm layers, hats, and gloves.

Policies:
-Fishing For All classes and events are nonrefundable, but can be transferred to other available options.
-Fishing For All does not collect your reservation or payment for programs with partner organizations, like our “Learn How to Ice Fish” programs. The partner organization will take your reservation and payment, and you are subject to their policies.
-Youth Summer Camp deposits are nonrefundable within 30 days of camp start date. They can be transferred to other available options. The remainder will be auto-collected on the 1st day of the camp. Once camp has started, this amount is nonrefundable and nontransferable.
-All class, event, and camp prices are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee and a $2/person booking fee. These costs are nonrefundable, but can be transferred with your deposit to another available option.
