Fly Fishing 301

Learn how to truly specialize in fly fishing and dial in advanced techniques for challenging fish and situations.

In these 4 hour courses, we’ll go deep on targeting a specific species or mastering a specialized fly fishing style. Whether you’re interested in steelhead, carp, muskie, or techniques like Spey casting, Euro nymphing, streamer fishing, or drift boat rowing- these classes are designed to sharpen your skills and build confidence on the water.

You’ll learn the exact rods, lines, leaders, flies, and rigging setups needed for your chosen focus area, along with advanced presentation and retrieval techniques. We’ll break down how to read water at a higher level, adjust tactics for changing conditions, and fish effectively throughout the season.

This course also dives into the biology, behavior, and movement patterns of your target species—helping you understand why fish behave the way they do and how to adapt your approach accordingly.

301 level classes count as prerequisites for our DIY Camps! These camps provide unique fishing experiences with other adventurous anglers and allow you to practice your advanced skills at a discounted rate compared to our all-inclusive camps.
